Uganda College of Commerce Kabale is public tertiary Institution that offers Diploma and Certificate Programs.It is a sixteen(16) member governing council and is a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and may  sue or be sued in its name.This is  as per the University and other tertiary institution Act 2003 amended . Members of the Governing Council are appointed by the Minister responsible for Education. The Governing Council has three(3) established Committees Namely;

• Students affairs committee
• Finance, Planning &Development committee
• Appointments and Disciplinary committee

The current chairpersons of the committees of the 5th Governing Council are;
